C- Shift: At 0100 hrs CFD and EMS were dispatched for a MVA at FM 78 and Beech Trail for a female in labor. Medic 3 arrived onscene to find a two car MVA with pregnant female ambulatory and two more patients trapped in a silver PT cruiser. Medic 3 Paramedic assumed triage officer while Medic 3 Officer assumed Command. Engine 2 and Rescue 8 arrived on scene and began extrication techniques. Pts were extricated in 20 minutes and loaded onto awaiting MICU ambulances and transported to local hospitals.
