B Shift: At 0911 hours Converse EMS was dispatched to assist Acadian EMS with a male victim struck on head by object.  Upon arrival of crew of Medic 1, victim found to be actually trapped by lower body under farm tractor tire.  Rescue 8 was called in and use traditional extrication methods.  Airllife was called in due to patients injuries and prolonged extrication time for transport to closest trauma facility for treatment and evaluation.  Extrication was successful, patient found to only have minor injuries and was admitted in stable condition.  No injuries occured to personnel operating and the situation was brought under control in less than 45 minutes from original dispatch to patient departure.
